Alator Capital is the fundraising arm of the Entrepreneurs Collective (EC). Launched in 2019, EC is a community of founders and investors, created for the purpose of providing support and guidance for all on their entrepreneurial journey. Alator Capital is the place our members will come for all the of their fundraising needs.
The aim of Alator Capital is to help startups grow through investment. To do that, Alator utilises its network of Angel Investors, VCs Family Offices and Seed Funds, alongside its deep rooted connections with startups, to create a bridge, connecting the two and making fundraising a more efficient process.
As founders ourselves, we understand the pain points associated with fundraising, and want to be on side with startups to ensure fundraising is as easy a process as possible. We want to help you and rebalance negotiations with investors, VCs and Private Equity, ensuring you get the best deal possible.
Michael Blakeley is the founder of Atalor Capital. An ex-lawyer and serial entrepreneur, Michael has founded a number of companies, including KliK Dating App, Pangolin Data Protection Consultancy and the Entrepreneurs Collective. As a lawyer, Michael has over a decades worth of experience in data protection and compliance and has worked across a number of blue chip corporations, including Tata Steel and MTG. As a lawyer, Michael worked with hundreds of startups and advised them on all manner of issues, including their fundraising, many of which ranged from $5m-$50m. In 2019, after founding Klik Dating App and Pangolin, Michael founded the Entrepreneurs Collective and Start A Dating App with an aim to create a strong community of Founders helping Founders, Michael has since built up a strong reputation for successfully bringing together founders and investors. Michael started Alator Capital to bridge the founder-investor gap, and is using his past experiences to help startup founders solve the complex issues associated with early stage fundraising and generate the investment they need.
Emilio is a lawyer with over six years of experience in banking & finance and capital markets at an international law firm. He has advised all types of clients in different sectors, from big banks to small businesses in diverse types of financing transactions, debt restructuring, and M&A, in both local and cross-border transactions. Furthermore, he has been part of developing and financing infrastructure projects, including renewable energy developments. He was also part of the founding team of a new Mexican law firm and later started his own business in Mexico as well as undertaking a masters degree at UCL in Entrepreneurship focused on Fintech and Technology. Emilio's work at Alator Capital as a fundraising associate allows him to advise the strongest startups in the UK during their capital raise to help them achieve their financial and growth goals.
